As reported by Water Canada, the Government of
Canada is taking additional steps to address the potential
harm of PFAS, or “forever chemicals,” commonly found
in everyday products that are making their way into our
drinking water sources — including the Great Lakes.
Heading in the opposite direction, a recent Guardian
story shares that the Trump administration “is quietly
moving to reverse bans on these forever toxic chemicals.”
