About Canadian Water Network
Canadian Municipal Water Consortium
Canadian Water Network (CWN) is a national nonprofit
whose mission is to inspire and empower Canadians to
lead the way in finding water solutions to protect our
health, create vibrant and resilient communities, and
respect and protect our natural environment.
Canadian Water Network hosts the member-based
Municipal Consortium, an executive network of senior–
level decision-makers from Canada’s largest water
utilities. Water utilities must ensure 24/7 reliability
of the essential service they provide, one that all
municipalities rely on for growth and prosperity.
CWN fulfills its mission by serving as a national hub
for cross-sector collaboration to address a range of
water-related challenges and opportunities. We bring
leaders from different fields and sectors together to share
knowledge, collaborate and accelerate action toward
sustainable solutions. Visit our website at cwn-rce.ca to
learn more.
The Municipal Consortium supports strategic decisionmaking, cross-sector dialogue and effective risk management to maintain that reliability and public trust.
Through the Municipal Consortium, Canadian
water utility leaders:
• Learn from others’ experiences to apply best
practices and be on top of sector trends.
