Part 3 of Canada’s biggest water projects
ELCOME TO the final installment of
Water Canada’s exploration of the annual
Top100 Projects Report, from our sister
publication, ReNew Canada. Since its
inception in 2006, this comprehensive
study has been showcasing Canada’s most significant
infrastructure projects based on total dollar investment.
The report this year is teeming with an impressive
$273 billion worth of assets from an array of industries
including transit, transportation, energy, healthcare,
and of course, water. Spread across 10 out of the 13
provinces and territories, this year’s edition displays
Canada’s wide-scale commitment to infrastructure
development.

mitigation assets in four provinces: B.C., Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario. Representing a remarkable $20.39
billion of the report’s total assets, these projects underline the critical importance and financial commitment
Canada continues to place on water infrastructure. And
in this issue, we’re all set to plunge into a few more of
these monumental undertakings.
In anticipation of more significant projects, Water
Canada is embarking on its own mission to showcase
the biggest projects in water: The Top 50 Water Projects
report, slated for publication next year. This focused
report will shine a well-deserved spotlight on those vital
projects across the country whose goals are to improve
both the lives of Canadians and the land we inhabit.
So stay tuned, because there is always more to discover
about the amazing work being done in the realm of
water projects in Canada.
