Feasibility study paves
the way for future water
infrastructure and design

HE WILLOW TRUNK Feasibility
Study and Conceptual Design project
is a comprehensive planning study of
a 985-hectares (ha) sewershed within
the core of the City of Vancouver. This
sewershed crosses the Broadway Plan Area and
includes the north half of the Cambie Corridor. These are two transit-oriented planning
areas along Skytrain routes that are projected
to experience significant growth over the next
30 to 50 years. The City is projecting a population increase of up to 250,000 people in this
sewershed by 2100.

Altogether, the implementation and integration of the new
storm trunk with other watershed-wide solutions will
improve the service level, resilience, and adaptability of the
drainage and sewer system.
