closer look at freshwater quality in Cornwall, Ont.
In the first event, hosted in partnership with River Institute in
Cornwall, Ont., the River Institute led a hands-on water testing
demo. Participants compared river and tap water samples, sparking
conversations about water quality and stewardship.
The Downstream event in Victoria, BC, as part of the National
Water and Wastewater Conference, brought together sector leaders
with experience from across the country, offering detailed answers
to students’ questions and inspiring personal stories on what it
means to build a career in water. The relaxed atmosphere of this
event made space for the opportunity to network and carry on
discussions outside of the round table structure.
